El Matador
El Matador – A very fickle wave located in north LA County that can occasionally have a nice corner. Although this break is closed out most of the time, hurricane swells and mixed swells work best. I got it in the fall here in this shot with some nice lefts off the rock. Can be tide sensitive and closeout at low tides or turn into a burger with just a little too much water so plan accordingly. Easy access via PCH just south of Nicholas Canyon Beach.
